Please join us for an afternoon of fun and language teaching ideas—and, of course, to support your friends and colleagues! Refreshments will be served!
- Engaging presentations lined up with experienced language instructors from Central Eurasian Studies, East Asian Languages and Cultures, French and Italian, Middle Eastern Languages and Cultures, Slavic and Eastern European Languages and Cultures, and the School of Education, among others.
- Keynote speech by Lindsay Giacomino from the Department of Spanish and Portuguese, who will introduce us to this semester's theme.
Please note that while Share Fair presenters are selected from AIs and FLTAs, any member of the current and future language teaching community is welcome to attend the event. This includes professors, lecturers, graduate students who have not yet started teaching, as well as undergraduates who are aspiring language instructors.
What is Share Fair?
- The IU Foreign Language Share Fair is a semi-annual event that encourages both graduate students and faculty to share inspiring ideas, useful teaching strategies, and new activities that can be widely applied in language classes.
- Our vision is to create and foster a true community of language educators through interdepartmental collaboration. We believe in the supporting power of networking and learning from peers, and it is our mission to provide a casual and welcoming environment for this unique and worthy cause.
